Four Boston Area Nonprofits Awarded Consulting Support
January 9, 2018 The Highland Street Foundation in Newton recently announced that it has selected four Boston area nonprofits to receive six months of consulting support, valued at $30,000 to each organization, to help them improve their long term growth and sustainability.

underwrites the Community Impact Consultants program, which pairs independent consultant with the nonprofits.
The nonprofits receiving consulting support, starting this month, are:
The consultancies aim "to strengthen, support, and strategically guide their organization in order to better serve their constituents and the community," the foundation said.
In addition to frequent monitoring throughout the six months, the consultants are asked to develop a progress report at the three-month mark. The engagement will also generate a report identifying specific measurable indicators for each outcome and a long-term strategic plan for the organization.
Any 501(c)(3) organization based in Massachusetts with an annual operating budget between $500,000 and $4 million may apply to participate in the program.
