Alison Glastein Joins Childrens Advocacy Center of Norfolk Co.
July 24, 2007 The Childrens Advocacy Center of Norfolk County, a nonprofit organization that addresses the needs of children who experience physical and sexual abuse, announced the appointment of Alison Glastein as director of operations and external affairs.
Glastein will be responsible for building collaborative partnerships and identifying new supporters for the organization as the Center expands its scope of services for children, family members and the community.

, her skills will be critical to the organization, especially as we execute our plans to build and move into a new independent site in Foxboro.
Glastein was the founder and president of PEAR Associates LLC, a consulting firm that offers writing services and project management to nonprofit organizations. She has more than 15 years experience working with the nonprofit sector, with a background in organizational management and project direction at various health and human services agencies.
Prior to joining by the Childrens Advocacy Center, she worked with the organization as a freelance grant writer.
Established by the Norfolk County District Attorneys Office in 2000, and incorporated as a nonprofit in 2001, the Childrens Advocacy Center provides a coordinated and sensitive response to children who experience physical, sexual, and domestic abuse. The CAC develops vital resources and coordinates direct care to children and their non-offending family members through an effective multi-disciplinary approach.
