Four Mass. Nonprofits Each Get $30K in Consulting Support
January 6, 2019 The Highland Street Foundation, based in Newton, last week announced it is funding six months of consulting support, valued at $30,000, to each of four nonprofits, in Lowell, Boston, and New Bedford, aimed at helping them enhance their long term growth and sustainability.
The support, from the Community Impact Consultants program of the Highland Street Foundation, matches independent consultant with the nonprofits to strengthen, support, and strategically guide their organization to better serve constituents and the community.
The nonprofits now receiving consulting support through June are:
Initiatives frequently supported include fundraising and development planning, strategic plan development, communications and public relations, marketing and branding, board development and governance, and accounting and financial planning.
Any 501(c)(3) organization based in Massachusetts with an annual operating budget between $500,000 and $4 million may apply to participate in the program.
