MetroWest Health Foundation Grants $3.3M to 22 Nonprofits

May 7, 2021 — The MetroWest Health Foundation in Framingham recently announced that it granted $3,388,628 to support operations of 22 area nonprofit organizations that provide critical services, including primary medical and behavioral health care.

The MetroWest Health Foundation said it also is providing financial support to address needs resulting from the coronavirus pandemic, including funding to address social isolation of older adults and the development of services to support those coping with the anxiety, stress, and loss associated with the pandemic.

Receiving the grants were the following:

  • A Place to Turn: $30,000
  • Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School: $30,000
  • Advocates: $248,800
  • Beth Israel Lahey Health at Home: $29,992
  • Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center: $1,125,500
  • Family Promise MetroWest: $35,000
  • Health Care for All – Health Insurance Enrollment: $75,000
  • Holliston Council on Aging: $9,503
  • Jewish Family Services of Metrowest: $47,256
  • Latino Health Insurance Program – Health Insurance Enrollment: $150,000
  • Lovin’ Spoonfuls – Food Security: $150,000
  • MassBay Community College: $30,000
  • Mental Health Collaborative: $14,550
  • MetroWest Legal Services: $244,584
  • MetroWest Nonprofit Network: $214,797
  • MetroWest YMCA: $55,000
  • Natick Service Council: $30,000
  • OUT MetroWest: $24,146
  • Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts: $20,000
  • Riverside Community Care – Behavioral Health: $150,000
  • South Middlesex Opportunity Council: $450,000
  • Wayside Youth & Family Support Network – Behavioral Health: $225,000
